Happy holidays!

This year I put together a low budget fold out piece on some office flouro paper. The idea was to thank everyone who had kept me busy over the year and to show a glimpse of what I had been up to. I'm hoping santa gets me a better camera this year :)

Postcard art book

Some postcards from a self directed project have been selected for POSTCARD, a forthcoming showcase book compiled, written and designed by FL@33 and to be published by laurence king. The project was based on a poem by Bob Auld, a scottish poet. 'The Cosy Cluster' is about a local pub and its regular characters. For me, the poem conjured up images of small town british culture. So I picked out some lines to illustrate this. The book will be out in spring '08

Origami fridays

This is the latest flyer for Origami friday's at The White House, London. The design is based on paper folding crease patterns. Below are some previous versions that fold down from A4.

Logo pitch

Here are two of six marks pitched for a new musical instrument out next year.

Fontfoolery

A client who is moving to Australia asked me to put together an invite for his final send off. It gave me the chance to play around with some type. Let me know what you think.

Alastair Hamer, Silversmith

The new Alastair Hamer site is now complete as part of a recent rebrand. Alastair is a Silversmith from London producing high quality, bespoke cutlery. The idea was to simply showcase some of his intricate pieces.

Stereohype

As part of Stereohype's BIO series I was invited to submit a range of badges which are now on sale. The artwork was based on a recent illustration.

Nunya bidness...

Here's what the new business cards look like. Black foil on some good board. Even managed to get a couple of versions done on a smoke colour and white plastic too. It was nice to be a bit indulgent!

The White House London: Mailer

Just recieved a few file copies of a recent gatefold corporate mailer produced for The White House London, a Manhatten style club in Clapham. I'm in the process of getting some decent shots for my new website so you'll have to make do with this one for now. I've been doing flyers and posters for some of their events and it was nice to do something a little bit different for the brand.

It's all academic

I was asked to come up with an identity for Theoretical Girl which will be used on promotional material and merchandise. We are in discussions for a cool website too! If you want to see more of TG, she'll be backed up by a full band supporting Maximo Park for a few dates in October.

A while ago now...

...But I spotted one of my badges in an old copy of CR.
